About

I'm Kesiena Eboh, a Senior Product Designer based in Kitchener, Ontario with 8+ years of experience across fintech, SaaS, aviation, music, sustainability, and scientific software.

Right now I'm one of two product designers at Revvity Signals, designing Labgistics from the ground up, a workflow management platform for laboratory scientists and technicians. I gravitate toward domains with real underlying complexity where the design challenge is making that complexity disappear for the people doing the work.

How I think

I'm problem-first. I want to know what's broken and why before anything gets designed. That means spending time with users, mapping their mental models, and stress-testing assumptions before committing to a direction.

I studied computer science before moving into design, and it still runs through everything I do. I think in systems. I prototype in code when it helps move a conversation forward.

How I use AI

AI tools are part of my daily workflow. I use them for research synthesis, competitive analysis, interactive prototyping, and design validation. They let me cover more ground during discovery and get to testable ideas faster, which matters when you're designing in a domain as deep as laboratory science.

What I care about

I'm drawn to the overlap between product strategy and interaction detail. I want to be in the conversation about how a system's architecture should work, and then get the micro-interactions right for someone who will use that system every day at a lab bench. I also believe strongly in designing with users rather than for them. The best design decisions I've made came out of consortium sessions and research conversations.
